The engagement

What brought this engagement together.

ID-Assist was built to help instructional designers and content creators use AI inside a structured workflow for educational content generation. The project focused on reducing repetitive content drafting and helping users turn selected content into structured instructional outputs such as assessment questions and learning material.

The challenge

What needed solving.

Creating instructional content is time-consuming and requires consistent structure, accurate information, and iterative refinement. Manual content creation workflows create bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and slow turnaround. Teams working on large content projects need a more structured way to plan, generate, review, and manage instructional material.

The approach

How we approached it.

Zasya built ID-Assist to reduce the manual effort in instructional content creation by applying AI-assisted generation, structured workflows, and review systems to the content pipeline. The goal was to help content teams move faster while maintaining structure and quality.

The build

What we built.

  • Microsoft Office add-in, so the tool runs where the document already is
  • Document and content selection workflow
  • MCQ and question generation from selected source material
  • Structured instructional content templates
  • Prompt and output formatting layer
  • Review and refinement pipeline
  • Content organization and categorization
  • Output formatting and export
Capabilities

System highlights.

The parts that are not obvious from the build list — what the system does, rather than what was delivered.

What the system does differently

The designer never leaves the document to generate from it

Questions are generated from selected source material, not from a blank prompt

Structure is enforced by the template, so output does not need reformatting

Generation is a draft; the review step is where it becomes content

Fits an existing content process rather than replacing it

The outcome

What changed.

  • Reduced manual effort in instructional content creation
  • More consistent content structure across projects
  • AI-assisted content generation and refinement
  • Structured review workflow for content quality control
  • Content organization and management system
  • Showed the workflow holds up on real instructional material, not a demo set
